Welcome back to the FamilyPreparednessGuide blogsite!
Another way for you to Keep It Super Simple!
Step 7: Maximize your resources by managing them more effectively.
More than likely, you have the hope of living until tomorrow. You also probably have some plans for the future.
How well you prepare now determines how well you will live in that future you envision.
If you are comfortable as you live today in your current lifestyle and you do not prepare for the unexpected, there is a high possibility that tomorrow you will live uncomfortably and below your current standards.
Although family preparedness is not just about food storage, it’s the one closest to your heart––your stomach!
I’m not telling you to do anything weird! Don’t rush out and buy things in a panic––just do more of what you normally do! Fill your pantry with your family’s basics–more of what you already prepare and eat daily.
These are super simple rules for provisioning your pantry:
-
Store what you normally eat!
-
Eat what you have in store!
-
Learn how to fix it, and
-
Go buy a lot more!
-
Then, use it or lose it!
If you have food on hand during tough times, you won’t need to beg, borrow, or steal!
Having enough food, clothing, shelter, warmth, safety, and security allows you to help others––like being your brother’s keeper! It’s all about having a Spiritual Perspective!
You could help other members of your family and your extended family. You could help your community. You could help lots of people in need regain their normalcy.
It’s as simple as that!
Till next time…
